The Caparison Horus-HGS model came about as a result of endorsee requests. Designing and building a HGS version of the small bodied, short scale Horus took more than a year of research, development and testing. Horus' unique and small body shape with it's 628 mm scale was considered impossible to adapt to the HGS format, but the use of a walnut body overcame this. The walnut maintains the tone, rich harmonics, resonance, and low end response expected of a Caparison HGS model. The finish of the Horus-HGS is applied so as to best retain the timbre and variety of tones offered by the walnut body. Available in Oiled Walnut, Pro. Black.
