A modification of the Richter (Diatonic) tuning based on the 12-hole Marine Band. Instead of extending the tonal range upwards, the SBS extends it downwards, creating what is essentially a standard Richter harp with an additional bottom octave tuned exactly the same as the first three channels in the normal harmonica, but one octave lower. This enables the player to bend draw notes in the blues style over a much greater range than is otherwise possible. Available in C, D, F, G and A. Please select when purchasing.
