When Parker guitars came out some years ago they were almost immediately discounted for their appearance, these days they look pretty subtle compared to some others, but their tone and versatility has never been brought in to question. They were also, in the past, a high end product with a high end price tag. But Parker guitars and basses have experienced a recent drastic price drop thanks to being taken in by giant U.S. company U.S. Music Corp and having a new Australian distributor to go along with it.
