Mainline is a blues/rock band now in its fifth year. Mainline is well and truly a fulltime touring band and one of the hardest working to emerge from the local music scene in a very long time.
The band takes pride in being welcomed back by happy and satisfied hotel venue management time and time again working with volume control to keep management happy During 2005 Mainline added clubs to their ever increasing list of clients. Furthermore, talks are underway for Mainline to venture in the huge corporate market. So no matter what the occasion or venue this band has the performance to suit.
Mainline will record their second album in late 2007. The new album out now which was recorded at A#studio's by Jeff Cripps in late 2005 will be on sale at gigs along with Mainline T-shirts and caps. The album will be supported with a tour taking the band well into 2006-2007.” Most of our gigs comprise of covers and originals.

Hailing from the iconic edge of the world, Pyromesh have been Perth metal heavyweights since their emphatic launch into the scene in late 2001.
"all jet-engine firebombs of destruction glued together by melodic intuition and musicianship." - Brett Ladhams, Xpress Magazine.

An incomparable determination and the day to day experiences of an isolated city that encourages artistic thought and expression, Pyromesh have initiated their worldwide campaign.

 | Just prior to the dawn of the new millennium, brothers Cliff & Gideon Thompson converged around a love of music laced with aggression and emotion. Heralding from Manurewa, a tough suburban neighbourhood in South Auckland (New Zealand), Cell's incubation period was in an environment over-run by Hip Hop and RnB. Going against the flow, in 2001 the core members of the band took their hip hop influence, smashed it into something far different, refashioning its broken, scattered pieces into a brash art they like to call Twisted Metal. This fusion of pounding funk & hip hop grooves, blanketed with plush rhythmical guitars and a focused, yet chaotic vocal roar is this very foundation. Inspired by thoughts, beliefs & environment, Cell fashion songs of purpose, insight & meaning. For a time, Cell has been forming, growing, developing in their glass vessel, hidden in a laboratory across the Tasman Sea. The time has come for Cell to be released from this laboratory. Cell in all its visceral splendor; dynamic, honest and raw have recorded and released their debut "Like A Bullet" and have already started writing and recording for their next release. | | CONTACT

| | A cohesion of generations, and the musical differences between them........ Made up of rockers in their 30s, 20s and their teens, William ShatNa's Pants fills the gaps. After meeting in 2003, Jamie and Luke began working on a number of songs together, bashing strings in a tidy room with no apparent acoustic benefit. With only a few common influences, and starting with acoustic guitars, they weaved uncertain melodies together, trying to find some winning combination. Without a drummer, and no guitar stacks to amplify the sounds, the results ended up more like an acoustic duet (duh!) than a ballsy 'screw you!' rock sound. Rehearsals sooned begged for a beat and Beat (Magazine) it was that presented WSP with a 17 year old human metronome to take to the task. The final influence to this rock crusade, Max helped shaped the final sound that has become William ShatNa's Pants . With 18 songs down (and many more in the works), a self-titled EP now released, and another one on the way..... WSP is ready to rock your pants off! ***Visit our website to download your free mp3s of our first release!!!*** | | CONTACT

Lead guitarist Adrian Scott’s (AKA Shred Master General – as he’s known in Tasmania) stunning fret board gymnastics alone are a must see! Hammerhead’s debut album, entitled “Stiff”, came out in January 2006. It was entirely self-produced and captures the bands powerful sound and intricate arrangements with twelve awesome tracks. Stiff has received raving reviews and a lot of local air play, and paid for itself within the first few weeks of its release. Four tracks from Stiff can be heard at www.purevolume.com/hammerheadaus. | | CONTACT | | Hot new hard rockers THE DANGEROUS TRUTH are working hard to make an impact in 2006. In their short time together, they are already making their presence felt with plenty of successful shows around popular Melbourne venues. If the Ramones, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne and Sex Pistols all got together and jammed at a party, added the unforgettable catchy choruses of Cheap Trick, threw in the awesome rhythms of AC/DC and pumped buckets of steroids into the mix you would have a fair representation of "The Palms". They play hard and loud and party hard and loud. They know what they like and refuse to settle for anything less. | | CONTACT | | His Violin playing is totally infectious, eclectic, flamboyant, and very sensuously delicate, all awhile intertwining the loud and sometimes brash……and just like the man, Mykl lives this persona with great passion and insight as he captivates the audience in this awe inspiring musical journey of spontaneous performance art. Passionate and inspirational, the eclectic sums Mykl up very nicely. | | CONTACT | | Brisbane band, "MindsAlike" brings it home in the house of hard rock with music that speaks for itself...tight gutsy songs...impressive originals!! To make it brief, their writing talent and enthusiasm for rock with soulful melodies is building rapid interest. Somewhere inside this living breathing monster lays a woman by the name of Mz Ann Thropik; ravenous for the woes of an imaginary life and grieving for the dried husk of reality. She will take you into her rabbit hole; cover you in pink furs, PVC buckles and spider web melodies. Take you through her world of love and pain, whispering songs into your ears, till you're hurting from the beauty of it all. Born in Oct 2001 to a pawn shop guitar, Mz Ann Thropik has cultivated a large fan following world wide and it's obvious why. Mz Magdalena Terror's sugar coated voice creeps its way into your being, blooming in the crowd's hearts. Her sound is of 12am beating on the inside of your head, the purple fluid moans that pours into you like honey, and whispered words barely audible beneath the drum and bass. The shrieking hiss of painful lyrics and divine plump melody of a thousand lost loves. | | CONTACT | | Stigma is a band from Trondheim, Norway with their 5th album, "The failure of me", out now. Their music is a kind of melodic, melancholic metal with some progressive parts in it. Stigma find it hard to describe themselves as they "can't think of any band that sound similar to them". Stugma's fans has always been loyal and the band always try to give them what they want. Stigma say they've discovered over the years that it's more important to focus on what you want to do rather then constantly developing and then eventually end up changing your style completly. This is Stigma back where we started in 2000. Stigma do what they do best rather than trying to please the reviewers. Members of the band: Stig Rune Robertsen on guitars and vocals, Endre Hindhammer on bass and backing vocals and Marius Skaugen on drums. | | CONTACT | | Sydney's 20 Grams is a collective of diverse influences that is combined to slam heavy rock and strong melodies - 20 Grams is for fans of melodic rock and bands like Motley Crue, U2, Van Halen, Bryan Adams, etc. | | CONTACT | | The band Black Asylum aspires to create original, power driven heavy metal music. Their self titled genre is "Molten Metal"- heavy but flowing and unrestrained.. Bands such as Pantera, Metallica and Megadeth are acknowledged in their sound and the band plays with a pure music brutality that has a melodic dynamic (the likes of Opeth) coupled with a raw feel (the likes of Slipknot). This effective meshing of metal genres is heard through strong guitar compositions where melodic phrases merge seamlessly into tumultuous musical power flows, the very essence of heavy metal. | | CONTACT | | Sealed Fate have started on adding material and developing their sound in 2005. Formed in 2001 as The Jet Set, The Kissingers made an immediate impact on a stagnant scene which was mewing and suckling on the dried up tit of tired Retro- Rock. "No more greasy hair and studied posturing," the people cried! "Illuminate us! Challenge us! Make us want to storm the Bastille!" The Kissingers obliged. "Give us songs we haven't heard in 16 different variations! Give us melodies that smother us in sugary sweetness, harmonies that elevate us, confound us, exceed the expectations, relegate the norm, give us tragedies that bards South of Hadrian's Wall would weep over!" The Kissingers obliged. We are fixated by the possibilities, frightened by the unknown, compelled and drawn into he light… will you be one of those who dwell in hindsight? Their music highlights the intensity and sheer enthusiasm that leads them to soar in full flight across a rampaging wall of psychedelic, rabid space punk boogie with intense vocals. Musically these floppy haired rock munchkins generate an energetic up-beat kind of vibe, blending superb guitar sounds and drum beats to rhythmic kooky style poetry vocals. The sound is more of a hard rock grind with fewer loops as they trip out a distortion of moody effects, yet the charismatic vocals emulate their observational and mind penetrating-satirical lyrics and if you like no-nonsense rock ‘n roll – The Meek’s music is for you. | | CONTACT | | PROTAKORE is a hard, heavy, moody, melodic and experimental Australian prog rock/metal 3-piece that began in 2003. Themes including personal experiences, identity, society , media and politics are essential elements of the unique vision and style that is PROTAKORE. PROTAKORE will continue to evolve in their unique collective vision for a long time to come – not allowing the present absence of a singer (which will be rectified shortly-with the addition of both male and female vocals) to dampen their passion for creating such energetic and emotionally charged music. | | CONTACT | | With members from such bands as Addictive/Mortal sin/Cyanide6/Enemy Me/Unpaid Dept and more Australian metallers My Therapy are currently settling on a line-up to take on the world. | | CONTACT | | The 2004 Australian summer saw hard rock / metal band Tourettes line up along side the best that the music world could muster taking to the main stage of the Sydney Big Day Out, to open for Metallica. The CD has been a long time coming but has been worth the effort. Songwriter, Mat Robins recruited drummer Sev Lah and Bassist Gav Parker who were keen to jump on board after hearing the album. Since forming as a whole band in late 2004 Magenta have performed at respected venues in Melbourne with a very warm response. The music is modern and unique but somewhat reminiscent of bands such as Swervedriver, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots. The band moved on to play bigger and better shows, and continued writing songs for the debut album. Having shared the stage with some of Australia's top metal bands, such as Dungeon, Mortal Sin, Black Majesty, Devolved, Flesh Mechanic, Daysend and many more, Switchblade continue to go from strength to strength, and in 2004 were chosen to support American Metal band MACHINE HEAD on the sold out Sydney show. Jeff and Ty originally formed the band in Janurary, 2005. A few weeks later, they recruited their friend Joe to play drums, who shares similar ideas about music. Together, The Feel creates abstract sounds and noises in their songs. A lot of bands today write songs that seem contrived and written with commercial value in mind. The Feel wants to make music that is art. Their aim is to pull emotions out of the listener with a very different, but real, style of music. | | CONTACT | | Well who are Melbourne boys The Devilrock Four? In Fact entire rock bands - well known and unknown - come to see how another band abuses the rock sound.
