	The primary design goal behind the creation of the Cobra amplifier head was to take the Dragon head and hot-rod it to the max. Like the Dragon, the Cobra is a 100-watt valve amp head that is hand-wired and features three independent channels. The Cobra, however, has several upgrades in the signal processing that will give you more flexibility and tonal variety.

	The Framus research and development team worked long and hard to design the perfect speaker cabinets to augment the tremendously popular Cobra amplifier head. After trying every speaker on the market, Framus unanimously agreed that the Celestion Greenbacks were best suited to be included in the Cobra 4X12 speaker cabinets.

	This new thoroughbred amp is a retro take on the proven design of the Ruby Riot combo. Whilst many of the specifications found in the Ruby Riot 1 have remained, the main changes in the Ruby Riot II lay in the voicing of the Lead channel and the addition of a tremolo. The Ruby Riot we all know and love sports a high gain lead channel where as its brother the Ruby Riot II offers only 1/3 of the gain for a more retro lead sound .
