Mattias "IA" Eklundh plays in various tunings. The Apple Horn-HGS model responds to the Drop C tuning that he has favoured recently. New modifications to the Apple Horn-HGS not only emphasize the low sounds but correspond to the specific sounds of his band, Freak Kitchen. The Apple Horn-HGS has rough surfaces with special coating methods. This model also shows the wood grain without the color of wood. Coating with lighter materials provides the sound to change in mid and high ranges.

The debut of the Angelus Model was introduced after much development time with Japanese artist Ace. Angelus-ACE is completed with ACE's needs and requirements based on the Caparison Angelus model. Schaller FRT bridge, split coil switches for both pickups, flame maple top, mahogany body, "Beautiful Prayer" inlays. Available in Transparent Red or Transparent White.

The Angelus HGS (Heavy Gauge Strings) was developed at the request of Caparison endorsees seeking depth of tone in their tuned down playing. It still retains the 628 mm scale of the regular Angelus modele, however, the bridge position is mounted 3mm further along than regularly seen on other guitars; this is to help when adjusting heavy gauge strings to an octave deeper in pitch.

A new body, slightly altered body shape has been developed for the new Angelus 22, eliminating 2 frets from the previously available Angelus. Controls are derived from the original Angelus rotary switch mode, coupled with 2-volume controls, the Angelus 22 is capable of a wide variety of tones. Other changes made from the original Angelus include the redesigned Caparison BH-R/F pickup and medium frets. Available in Purple Sunburst, Red Sunburst or Vintage Sunburst.
